It's software that uses machine learning to listen to your track and apply EQ, compression, limiting, and stereo enhancement — basically the same chain a human mastering engineer would use. The big difference is speed: what takes an engineer hours takes the AI about 30 seconds.

For indie releases, streaming uploads, and content projects — honestly, yes. You get clean, loud, balanced masters that meet platform standards. If you're prepping a major-label vinyl release, a human engineer might still add something. But for everything else, AI mastering gets you about 95% of the way there at a fraction of the cost.
